Cancellation of Household Hazardous Waste Day Event - July 17, 2021

Although the Province of Ontario is moving to Step Three of the Province's Roadmap to Reopen at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021, due to staffing concerns the Household Hazardous Waste Day Event, originally scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 17, 2021, has been cancelled.
The next Household Hazardous Waste Day Event is scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2021. Future Household Hazardous Waste Day events are scheduled for September 11, September 25,...

West Grey flags lowered to half mast following discovery of unmarked graves in Saskatchewan

In respect of the discovery of unmarked graves near the former Marieval Indian Residential School in Saskatchewan, the Municipality of West Grey has lowered municipal flags in memory of the 751 individuals. The flags will remain at half-mast until June 30, 2021.

Lot 27, Con. 1 Division 2, EGR, Glenelg Pt. 17R1399 N of Pt. 1, 16R5753 & Pt. 2-3, 17R1640 & W. of Pt. 1, 17R3099, West Grey to be surplus to the needs of the municipality at the regular council meeting of May 4, 2021.
