West Grey continues to grow with building projects up $1.5M

WEST GREY, ON—The Municipality of West Grey continues a stretch of growth with improved building project numbers for the second consecutive year.
In 2020, builders and contractors in West Grey applied for more permits and the value of those permits was up by $1.5 million.

West Grey administration building reopening

WEST GREY, ON—The Municipality of West Grey administration building will reopen on February 22, 2021 under modify hours from 10 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m.
Recreation staff continue working with public health to move toward a return to opening halls and arenas. West Grey Public Library will be continuing with curbside service for the balance of February.
Council meetings will continue to be held remotely until further notice.

West Grey’s three landfill sites will be closed on Saturday January 30, 2021. We regret the inconvenience and expect to be back to regular operations next week.
West Grey extends facility closures past February 1, 2021

WEST GREY, ON—The Municipality of West Grey will extend its facility closures past February 1, 2021, in accordance with provincial orders.
This includes the administration building, arenas and halls. Closures will continue until further notice.
The municipality continues to ensure critical services remain operational, and staff are responding to emails and phone calls at 519-369-2200, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

WEST GREY, ON—Mayor Christine Robinson and members of council attended the 2021 Rural Ontario Municipal Association Conference on January 25 and 26.
