West Grey “build-a-banner” winners announced

WEST GREY, ON — Over 1,200 votes were cast in the “build-a-banner” contest held through July and August for the public to choose from 25 original artwork designs. The contest invited artists to submit designs and asked voters to choose one design for spring and one design for fall. The artistic banners will complement the new West Grey logo banners that will be installed seasonally in Ayton, Durham, Elmwood and Neustadt.

WEST GREY, ON — The Municipality of West Grey will host its second annual drive-through
Halloween party on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Come out to the Durham Arena where local businesses and community groups have created a drive-thru
Halloween party! Bring your trick-or-treater dressed up in their costume and drive through the

Two separate detours for Garafraxa Street culvert replacement project in Durham

WEST GREY, ON – Work to replace the box culvert on Garafraxa Street in downtown Durham, between South Street and Saddler Street, will begin next week. Road closures will be in effect from October 4 and the project is expected to last for a month.
Two separate detour routes – one for local traffic and cyclists and the other for commercial trucks and heavy vehicles – are planned.
Local traffic will be rerouted from Garafraxa Street, along South Street West to Queen Street South, then to Saddler Street...
