Enbridge Gas helps West Grey Fire Service
reduce fire and carbon monoxide deaths through Safe Community Project Zero
Municipality of West Grey, October, 29, 2021 – Today, Enbridge Gas, the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council and West Grey Fire Service announced they are working to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

Expanded polystyrene (EPS) recycling program

Styrofoam recycling can be dropped off at two landfills in West Grey starting November 1, 2021. West Grey will be recycling expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam packaging, commonly referred to as Styrofoam, in partnership with Second Wind Recycling. Styrofoam recycling will be based out of the Bentinck and Durham landfills.
Drop-off locations:Bentinck landfill, 114079 Grey Road 3
Durham landfill, 590 Park Street

Curbside leaf, garden debris and brush collection

Curbside leaf, garden debris and brush collection will take place on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 8:00 a.m.
Pickup will be in Durham, Neustadt, Ayton and Elmwood (West Grey side).
Please have leaves in large brown paper bags and brush tied in bundles at the curb by 8am. Leaves placed in plastic bags and loose brush will not be collected.

The Durham and Bentinck landfills will open regular hours, from 8am to 4pm.
