Notice of adoption of Community Improvement Plan

TAKE NOTICE the council of the Municipality of West Grey passed bylaw No. 83-2020 to adopt the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) on December 1st, 2020 under Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.

In making this decision, council considered all written and oral submissions received regarding the CIP.

AND TAKE NOTICE any person or agency may appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) in respect of the bylaw by filing with the clerk, no later than the 30th day...

West Grey pleased with broadband announcement

WEST GREY, ON— The Municipality of West Grey is encouraged by the announcement of funding for broadband.

On November 17, the province announced that all contracts have been signed in Bruce and Grey counties through the Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) project. In total, nearly $17 million will be invested into improving high-speed connectivity in Grey County.

Notice: public meeting on Broos subdivision

WEST GREY, ON—The Municipality of West Grey will be hosting a meeting at 10 a.m. on December 1 to hear from the public and provide information on the Broos subdivision. 

The application of this development calls for 207 residential units consisting of 120 single detached dwellings and up to five blocks for up to 87 townhouse dwellings north of Durham Road East in the town of Durham.

Notice of intent to sell lands

Carnegie Library:

Take notice that the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey hereby gives notice of the intention to sell lands known as Plan 500 Part Lot 19 WGR RP; 16R10764 parts 3 to 5, also known as the Carnegie Library property.

The above noted lands were declared to be surplus to the needs of the Municipality by resolution at the regular meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey held on November 3, 2020.
