West Grey to apply calcium chloride to gravel roads

The good weather is here, and with it comes dusty gravel roads. The Municipality of West Grey will be applying calcium chloride to gravel roads commencing the week of May 23, 2022. Please be patient as our Public Works Department works through the many kilometres of gravel roads in West Grey.
Bentinck landfill temporarily closed following fire

WEST GREY, ON — The Bentinck landfill will be closed until next Saturday, May 21, 2022. The landfill will be closed for a week to conduct site clean-up and inspection following a fire that occurred on May 11, 2022.
In the interim West Grey residents may use the Durham landfill for recycling and bagged garbage. The Durham landfill is open Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
