New landfill hours effective-July-2,-2022

The Bentinck landfill will be open Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Durham landfill will be open Thursday and Friday 12:00 noon to 6 p.m. The Normanby landfill remains closed due to staffing shortages. There will be no changes to curbside service - please have your clear bags and recycling out by 7 a.m. on your pick-up day.

West Grey launches community survey for its climate change action plan

Joining hundreds of communities across Canada, and in response to West Grey’s declaration of a climate emergency, West Grey is developing a municipal climate change action plan (CCAP) to address climate change locally and in its operations.
