WEST GREY, ON – On January 3, 2022 the Ontario government announced several restrictions in an effort to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and the demand on healthcare services. In response to the new regulations and rising case numbers, West Grey will be implementing the following service delivery changes effective January 5, 2022:
- The municipal office will be closed to the public. Service will be provided remotely online at www.westgrey.com, by email and telephone, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- All recreational facilities will be closed to the public.
- Burn permits will be available for curbside pickup.
- All West Grey libraries will provide curbside service only.
- All meetings of West Grey council will be held virtually. The public may view meetings live via Zoom or on YouTube. Zoom links are provided with agendas at:https://calendar.westgrey.com/meetings.
All essential services, including road maintenance, fire and police services as well as garbage collection and landfill sites will continue to operate.
The above service delivery changes will remain in effect until further notice.
