There are a variety of venues throughout the municipality that are available to rent. West Grey requires all of our event hosts to purchase event insurance to keep them protected during their time hosting a group in our space. Event hosts can purchase insurance from any insurance provider they wish provided it meets a minimum of five million dollars general liability insurance and the municipality is named as an additional insured.
We've partnered with insurance provider Duuo to offer our community members a preferred rate on the cost of coverage. Through Duuo, you just need to enter a few quick details about your event, and you'll be able to purchase a policy in about two minutes.

Durham Community Centre |

The Durham Community Center is a large recreation complex centered around a regulation ice surface. The arena is perfect for tournaments with stadium style seating, a warming room, board room and many dressing rooms. This facility also boasts a large banquet hall with small stage, AV equipment, coat room, catering kitchen and bar ready to host your next event. Just outside the Durham Community Centre, there is a community garden, outdoor pavilion area, three ball diamonds and two playgrounds with outdoor bathrooms and various picnic areas. The community centre is great for hosting a variety of events including weddings, dances, conferences and family gatherings.
