The Project
Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA) has initiated a study to update the regulatory floodplain mapping for Durham Creek in partnership with the Municipality of West Grey and D.M. Wills Associates Limited. Properties identified as having a bridge or culvert on or near Durham Creek will need to be measured and surveyed as part of this study. The study area is generally outlined in Figure 1.
The Process
Qualified staff will visit identified properties to measure and survey the bridge or culvert between July 4, 2023, and July 7, 2023 during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Staff will be clearly identifiable by high visibility clothing and will be able to provide identification if requested. If you have any questions, comments, or specific requests please contact one of the Project Managers listed below.
How to Participate
Residents and interested community members will be invited to attend a Public Information Centre to review the draft results of the study in the Fall/Winter of 2023. The location and time of the Public information Centre will be advertised on the SVCA and West Grey websites when they are determined.
