Notice of Public Meeting - Update to Building Department Fees

Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey will hold a public meeting to consider updates to the building department fees on April 1, 2025 at 9:00 a.m., in the Council Chambers of the Municipality of West Grey, in accordance with Section 7(6) of the Building Code Act. The public meeting will take place during the regular Council meeting.

This notice is being provided pursuant to clause 7(6)(a) of the Building Code Act, 1992, and clauses 1.9.1.2.(b) and (c) of Division C of the Ontario Building Code.

Additional Information

Information will be provided at the meeting on the estimated costs of enforcing and administering the Building Code Act, the amount of the proposed fee(s), and the rationale for changing and/or imposing fees.

Any person may attend the public meeting and/or make written or oral submissions either in support of or in opposition to the proposed building fee updates. All submissions will form part of the public record.
