Notice of intention to sell: Unopened road allowance declared surplus

Please be advised that West Grey council had declared the unopened road allowance north of Elm Street in Durham, known as Pt. Lot 27, Con. 1 Division 2, EGR, Glenelg Pt. 17R1399 N of Pt. 1, 16R5753 & Pt. 2-3, 17R1640 & W. of Pt. 1, 17R3099, West Grey to be surplus to the needs of the municipality at the regular council meeting of May 4, 2021.

A location map is posted outlining the said parcel of land in red, north of Elm Street, Durham.

Council intends to sell this parcel of land pursuant to the provisions of West Grey bylaw No. 23-2008, Sale and Disposition of Land. 

The timeline for the Municipality of West Grey to accept sealed bids has been extended until 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2021. 

Any interested party may submit a sealed bid to the West Grey Municipal office at 402813 Grey County Road 4, RR #2 Durham, Ontario, N0G 1R0, addressed to the attention of Clerk Genevieve Scharback, prior to 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2021. 

Bids must include the following information:

1. Identify the bidders name
2. Contact information
3. Offer amount
4. Details of any conditions on the offer
5. Proposed closing date.

The highest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted.
