Back to SearchPlease be advised that the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey intends to adopt an amendment to fees and charges bylaw 45-2021, in accordance with subsection 391(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25.
The amendment to the fees and charges bylaw includes the following:
- Add a spring ice time period being ‘April 1 to May 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday’ at a cost of $100.00 per hour plus HST;
- Add a business hours civil marriage ceremony fee of $295.00 plus HST; and
- Add an after-hours civil marriage ceremony fee of $395.00 plus HST.
The meeting at which the bylaw will be presented will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in West Grey council chambers, 402813 Grey Road 4, Durham, ON. Members of the public may attend in person or electronically via Zoom.
Notice is being provided in accordance with notice bylaw 2023-020. If the matter is postponed or considered at a subsequent council meeting, no additional notice will be provided other than the information on the subsequent council agenda.
