Notice of Intention to Pass a Bylaw to Govern the Proceedings of Council and Committees

Please be advised that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey intends to pass a bylaw to govern the proceedings of Council and Committees (the “Procedural Bylaw”) in accordance with section 238 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25.

The bylaw will replace Procedural Bylaw No.16-2021 and will incorporate multiple staff recommendations as approved by Council.

The meeting at which the bylaw will be presented will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at council chambers, 402813 Grey Road 4 Durham, ON, N0G 1R0.

The bylaw will come into effect January 1, 2025.

Notice is being provided in accordance with Notice Bylaw No. 2023-020. If the matter is postponed or considered at a subsequent Council meeting, no additional notice will be provided other than the information on the subsequent Council agenda.
