Notice of Intent to Sell Lands - Unopened and Unmaintained Road Allowances

Take notice that the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey hereby gives notice of the intention to sell the following lands:

• Lands known as the unopened and unmaintained road allowance legally known as Part 1, part of the original road allowance between Concessions 14 and 15, being part of PIN 37216-0078 and is located southeast of the intersection of Grey Road 25 and 20^th Sideroad NDR, in the geographic Township of Bentinck. The above noted lands were declared to be surplus to the needs of the municipality by resolution at the regular meeting of the council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey held on October 5, 2021.
• A portion of lands known as the unopened and unmaintained road allowance legally known as PIN 37223-0157, being the part of PIN 37223-0157 that is adjacent to and east of Lot 21 Concession 2 WGR located west of the Garafraxa Road in the geographic Township of Bentinck. The above noted lands were declared to be surplus to the needs of the municipality by resolution at the regular meeting of the council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey held on May 17, 2022.

Council intends to sell this parcel of land pursuant to the provisions of West Grey bylaw 23-2008, Sale and Disposition of Land.

The municipality shall accept sealed bids until 4:00 p.m. on March 2, 2023.

Any interested party may submit a sealed bid to the West Grey municipal office at 402813 Grey Road 4, RR #2, Durham, Ontario, N0G 1R0, addressed to the attention of CAO Laura Johnston prior to 4 p.m. on March 2, 2023.

Bids referencing the desired property must be submitted in a sealed envelope and include the following information:

1. Identify the bidder's name
2. Contact information
3. Offer amount
4. Details of any conditions on the offer
5. Proposed closing date

The highest or any offer may not necessarily be accepted.
