- Council directed staff to send a letter of support for a resolution passed by the Township of Perry requesting that the province amend blue box regulations for 'ineligible' sources. The request is for blue box producers to be fully responsible for all of their products and packaging at end of life, rather than producers only being responsible for 'eligible' sources.
- Council directed staff to bring forward a bylaw to enter into an agreement with the Town of Minto to maintain the highway/bridge that serves as the boundary between the municipalities. This agreement summarizes responsibilities for each municipality respecting maintenance, levels of service, and capital projects.
- Council directed staff to proceed with the replacement of the Normanby shed roof using trusses. Staff were directed to explore options for installing solar panels on the Normanby shed roof, and other West Grey facilities.
- Council directed staff to proceed with the replacement of the condenser at the Normanby arena. The new condenser will be installed for the start of the 2024/2025 ice season.
- In consideration of request from West Grey Minor Lacrosse, council directed staff to proceed with upgrades to the Neustadt arena. These upgrades will enhance the facility to better accommodate West Grey lacrosse. Some of the 2024 projects will involve installing plexiglass around the board uprights and acquiring shot clocks to be placed at both ends of the playing area.
- Council directed staff to enter in a lease agreement with Shared Tower Inc. Shared Tower Inc. will be installing a cell phone tower in Durham to provide better cellphone reception in West Grey.
