- Council received a delegation from the West Grey Durham Lions Club regarding proposals to upgrade the Durham Community Centre. These upgrades include the installation of handrails in the ladies washroom and upgrades to the kitchen facilities.
- Council directed staff to provide a letter of concurrence to the Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (IESDC) regarding the proposed telecommunication tower installation at 775084 Highway 10 in the geographic township of Glenelg, in the Municipality of West Grey.
- Council authorized the mayor and clerk to enter into a subdivision agreement with John Welton Custom Homebuilding Ltd. for phases 3 and 4 of the Welton subdivision.
- Council authorized staff to proceed with a silver-level sponsorship of the 2024 Elmwood Homecoming Celebrations. Elmwood will be celebrating its 170th year with its homecoming celebrations hosted the weekend of August 30, 2024.
- Council directed staff to bring forward a bylaw to reduce the posted speed to 40km/h on Baseline from 3rd Sideroad WGR to Welbeck Road, and on Concession 8 from Baseline to Sideroad 10.
- Council directed staff to obtain legal advice on the process of selling the Saugeen Municipal airport.
- Council shared information about upcoming community events, including:The next regular council meeting is June 18, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
- Friends of the Library Book Sale on Friday, June 7th from 1p.m. - 7p.m., and Saturday, June 8th from 9a.m. - 4p.m. at the Durham Town Hall
- Durham Horticultural Society Herb Fair on Saturday, June 8th, from 9a.m. - 3p.m. at Riverside Park
