Council received a delegation from David Donnelly regarding updating aggregate policy using an Interim Control Bylaw.
Council received correspondence from Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario respecting a request to illuminate buildings in purple in recognition of epilepsy awareness. Council directed staff to illuminate the digital sign at the West Grey municipal office and Elmwood Park in purple on March 26, 2025.
Council authorized the execution of a Quadripartite Tiered Emergency Response Agreement. The purpose of this agreement is to outline the details for dispatch on what medical calls the Elmwood Fire Department is dispatched and sent to for all medical response calls.
Council directed staff to provide a letter of concurrence to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (IESDC) regarding the proposed telecommunication tower installation at 563758 Glenelg Holland Townline, in the geographic township of Glenelg, in the Municipality of West Grey.
Council directed staff to work with Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority (SVCA) to request immediate response and financial aid from the province for the frazil ice flood risk situation in Durham (winter 2025), along the Saugeen River, and request technical and financial support from the Province to develop a long-term plan for flood mitigation and dam rehabilitation/replacement on the Saugeen River, through the town of Durham. Council also requested that SVCA delegate to Council on the engineering concerns related to the Durham Upper Dam, identifying plans and financial strategies for replacement/remediation of the Conservation Authority’s Upper Dam to remedy flooding concerns in the town of Durham.

- Wing Night February 14, 2025, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. At the Elmwood Community Centre.
