Council received a delegation from Steve Furness, Grey County, and Luigi Presta, ThinkCompass regarding a development opportunity at the Saugeen Municipal Airport.
Council directed staff to send a letter of support regarding correspondence received from various municipalities respecting the redistribution of the provincial land transfer tax and GST to municipalities to support infrastructure projects.
Council directed staff to send a letter requesting funding from the province for municipalities with municipal police services to offset cost increases associated with municipal police services.
Council directed staff to send a letter to Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority expressing concerns over the decision to discontinue winter operations at the Durham Upper Dam.
Council received a staff report on the West Grey Police Services Building Update for information purposes. The construction started in May of 2024 and is expected to be complete by October 2025.
Council received a staff report on the Blue Box Programs Update for information purposes. Starting January 1, 2025, West Grey’s Blue Box recycling program will transition to producer responsibility. Full producer responsibility will take effect across the province on January 1, 2026.
Council approved the West Grey 2024 Non-Core Asset Management Plan. O. Reg. 588/17 requires municipalities to prepare an asset management plan for all assets by July 1, 2024.
Council directed staff to bring forward a bylaw to authorize internet and telephone voting as the voting method for the 2026 municipal and school board election. The next municipal election will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026.
Council received a staff report regarding a request to purchase municipal land on Lambton St. E. in the Geographic Town of Durham. Council declared the 1.93-acre parcel surplus to the Municipality's needs, and directed staff to proceed with the sale of the property through the solicitation of bids.

- Durham Santa Clause Parade on December 7, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. in downtown Durham;
- Neustadt Santa Clause Parade on December 8, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in downtown Neustadt;
- Neustadt Tree Lighting on December 8, 2024, after the parade at the Neustadt Community Hall;
- Toronto Maple Leaf Alumni Game on December 14, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Durham Community Centre;
- Moreston by Candlelight at Moreston Heritage Village on December 7 and 14, 2024, from 4-8:00 p.m.;
- Holstein annual non-motorized parade on December 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.; and
- Durham Christmas Dinner on December 25, 2024, at the Durham Community Centre.
