The connect2SKILLS program is now accepting applications for residents of Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties. The connect2SKILLS program is fully funded by the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development and is delivered online. The main goal is to help those who are unemployed or underemployed enter the workforce armed with appropriate skills, certifications and a boost of confidence. This program supports each individual for up to 1 year.
Program support includes:
- 4-6 week training program
- 2-week paid placement
- job coaching, financial and equipment support
To be eligible, participants must be over 18, legally able to work in Canada, unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week and not enrolled in any other government training programs.
