WEST GREY, ON – CommunityVotes Grey County has spoken and awarded gold to West Grey for its summer 2023 aquatics program.

Council meeting highlights - December 19, 2023

• Council approved a rezoning application for a development in Durham that will permit the construction of:
  • a single-family dwelling on Saddler Street;
  • a townhouse complex of four units on Bruce Street South; and
  • a 4-storey apartment building with 40 units and an adjacent parking lot on Bruce Street South.
• Council approved a water service agreement with the Town of Hanover and the Becker Milk Company to provide municipal water service to the Shell gas bar and convenience store on County Road 10.

Notice of intention to amend the fees and charges bylaw

Please be advised that the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey intends to adopt an amendment to fees and charges bylaw 2023-064, in accordance with subsection 391(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25. 

The amendment to the fees and charges bylaw will amend Schedule E as follows:

• Amend bag tag fees from $2.50 each to $3.50 each.

Please note that this fee will not take effect until September 1, 2024.
