Public Notice of Special County of Grey Joint All Councils Meeting on March 21, 2025

Please be advised that a Special County of Grey Joint All Councils meeting will be held on March 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with the County of Grey and all of its lower tier municipalities.
The purpose of the joint meeting is to discuss shared service delivery and service efficiencies. The meeting will be held electronically and will be livestreamed to the County of Grey YouTube Channel. The agenda will be available for review on the County of Grey’s website beginning March 14, 2025.

Council received a presentation from Kevin Tremble, MNP LLP, respecting the 2023 Municipality of West Grey Draft Audited Financial Statements. Council approved the 2023 draft audited financial statements as presented.
Council received a delegation from David Donnelly regarding updating aggregate policy using an Interim Control Bylaw.
Council received correspondence from Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario respecting a request to illuminate buildings in purple in recognition of epilepsy awareness....
Upcoming: excess snow removal

Excess snow removal operations will be taking place throughout West Grey from February 4-8, 2025, weather permitting, as indicated below:
- Ayton: February 4, 2025;
- Neustadt: February 5, 2025; and
- Elmwood: February 6, 2025.
Municipal staff will be clearing excess snow and accumulated snowbanks to enhance safety and accessibility for both vehicles and pedestrians. The snow will be transported to designated disposal sites where it can be stored safely and melt without causing any issues.

West Grey officials attend 2025 ROMA conference
WEST GREY – Municipality of West Grey officials joined with close to 2,000 rural municipal leaders at the annual Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) conference held in Toronto from January 19-21, 2025. The conference offered educational programming, expert panels, keynote speakers, interaction with key municipal sector suppliers, and an opportunity to foster partnerships and relationships across the sector.
