West Grey charging stations

The Municipality of West Grey has installed Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations for public use at these locations:

  • West Grey Municipal Office
  • Riverside Park
  • Downtown Neustadt (Mill Street)
  • Ayton Community Centre

Other locations

Aside from municipal-owned chargers, other charging locations can be found by visiting ChargeHub or FLO.

All municipally-owned chargers are FLO Level 2 Chargers. Watch this detailed video on how to charge your electric vehicle.

All questions related to charging, accounts, and billing should be directed to FLO at www.flo.com/support or call 1-855-543-8356

  • EVs don't release air pollution from their exhaust which leads to better air quality for everyone. Air pollution can cause health impacts such as asthma, cardiovascular or immune system problems.
  • EVs don't contribute greenhouse gases (GHGs) into the atmosphere which reduces the impact on climate change.
In Ontario, transportation is one of the biggest sources of GHG emissions and is a key target area for reduction.
  • EVs are very quiet when driven because the electric motor doesn't make noise.
  • Using electricity to fuel your car is much cheaper than buying gasoline or diesel for your vehicle. According to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, EVs are up to 8 times cheaper to fuel than gasoline cars!

  • Use devices that are listed by a qualified testing laboratory.
  • Read and follow all manufacturer directions.
  • Check chargers and cords for damage before using.
  • Never use if damaged.
  • Do not use extension cords with the charger.
  • Install charging equipment in safe locations.
  • Keep away from busy areas and things that could catch fire.
  • Keep charging items out of reach of children and animals when not in use.
  •  Cover charging station outlet to keep water out.
