Notice of Intention to Amend Fees and Charges Bylaw - Rain Barrels and Downspout Diverters

Please be advised that the Corporation of the Municipality of West Grey intends to adopt an amendment to fees and charges bylaw 2023-064, in accordance with subsection 391(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25. 

The amendment to the fees and charges bylaw will amend Schedule E as follows:

• Add the following fee under ‘Environmental’:

                                      i.        Rain barrels: $63.00, HST inclusive.

                                     ii.        Downspout diverter unit: $40.00, HST inclusive.

The meeting at which the bylaw will be presented will take place at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in West Grey council chambers, 402813 Grey Road 4, Durham, ON. Members of the public may attend in person or electronically via Zoom.

Notice is being provided in accordance with notice bylaw 2023-020. If the matter is postponed or considered at a subsequent council meeting, no additional notice will be provided other than the information on the subsequent council agenda.
