Community Improvement Plan

Community Improvement Plans (CIPs) are a planning and economic development tool used by municipalities to help revitalize business areas through programs, grants, and incentives. Business owners in West Grey may apply for grants to help offset costs associated with façade, signage, accessibility, and structural improvements.

The application process for a CIP project starts with a pre-application meeting with a multi-disciplinary staff team to discuss application requirements, program eligibility, proposed scope of work, project timing, and supporting documentation requirements.
