Finance and Taxes

The Municipality's Finance Department is responsible for:

  • Preparing the annual operating and capital budgets for Council approval;
  • Financial reporting;
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  • Tax collection and administration;
  • Water and sewer billing;
  • Processing of Tile Drainage Loan applications; and,
  • Preparing financial reporting to the Province, including the Asset Management Plan and Financial Information Return.

Pursuant to O. Reg. 191/11 Integrated Accessibility Standards section 14(5)
The Municipality of West Grey recognizes situations, including but not limited to financial information prepared in iCity software, where it is not practical to present content in an accessible format.

In these cases, best efforts are used to provide citizens an accessible alternative or assistance in acquiring the information they need. Please contact the Clerk’s Department at 519-369-2200 ext. 229 if you need assistance in obtaining an accessible alternative for non-accessible content.
