Adopt-A-Highway

The Municipality of West Grey's Adopt-A-Highway program provides an opportunity for environmentally conscious citizens to make a personal contribution to a cleaner, healthier environment.

The Adopt-A-Highway program is open to everyone in the community. Through the program, individuals, groups, or businesses agree to adopt a section of right-of-way along a municipal roadway and keep it clean. There is no cost to participate in the program, cleaning and safety supplies are provided, and signs are installed at each end of the adopted section to acknowledge the individual or group’s participation.
