Phase 1 was built with existing open public data. To explore the beta version of the site, simply click this link or enter https://maps.grey.ca/agrifood. Next, choose the Add Your Business to the Agri-Food Asset Map button and follow the step-by-step instructions to begin your listing.
You may find your business or organization is already listed on our map if your information was on another public site (i.e.: Foodlink Grey Bruce, Public Health, Visit Grey etc.). If so, please find your business and update your listing for accuracy.
New to the map? Please opt in. The listing you create may be kept hidden (visible only to county staff) or you may choose an open listing if you want your business location and information to be visible to the public. Benefits to inclusion on Agri-Food Asset map:
Open listing (data visible to public on map):
Hidden listing (data not visible to public on map):
NOTE: Even if you choose the open / public option, the map is like an iceberg: only a part of the information we’ll gather will be visible to the public. The rest will be used by the county to generate annual reports about agriculture and food in Grey.
Step-by-step instructions will guide you through the process which will take 10-20 minutes depending on the depth of your profile. Please note the site is currently under construction and will get additional functionality before the full public launch. We look forward to building stronger connections in our agri-food community with your help.
