We are recruiting for the South West Local Health Integration Network Board of Directors PAS File # PAS-1778.
Apply by June 20, 2017
LHINs make Ontario’s health care system more patient-centered and responsive to local health care needs by planning, integrating and funding the delivery of health services, as well as providing home and community services in each of the 14 LHIN geographic areas.
This is a time of great opportunity for positive change at the LHIN. Under the Patients First Act, LHINs expanded responsibilities include the delivery of home and community care services, and primary care planning so that these services are better integrated with the rest of the health care system.
The Act strengthens LHIN’s accountability for local health service planning and performance, and supports providing care that is more integrated and responsive to local needs.
