Finance & Taxation

The Finance & Taxation Department provides accounting and financial services for all Departments of the Municipality. These functions include:

  • Annual Operating & Capital Budgeting;
  • Financial Reporting;
  • Accounts Payable;
  • Accounts Receivable;
  • Payroll;
  • Water/Sewer Billing & Collection; and
  • Property Taxation.

Property taxes are typically billed twice per year with two installments on each billing. The interim tax billing is based on 50% of the prior year’s annualized taxes and the installments are due in the months of February and May. The final tax billing installments are due in the months of August and October.
