Live Performance, Short Films, Art and New Media

The Fabulous Festival of Fringe Film has expanded! Two weekends. Multiple locations. Film, live performance, new and interactive media. In West Grey, we have new media and Virtual Reality opportunities at West Grey Public Library in Durham - try a VR headset for a whole new experience! Children's Program at Spruceridge School in Durham; "Speaking Fruit" interactive exhibit with VR (set up as a mobile fruit stand & sharing information about and by Migrant Workers) by Farrah Miranda at Glencolton Farms; a live multi-media performance at the Durham Arena; short film programs; so much to see and do! And don't miss the premiere of Skawennati's "Words Before All Else, Part 2 - The Thanksgiving Prayer by a 'Second Life' avatar! (Commissioned by The Fabulous Festival of Fringe Film) Bruce County events include outdoor films on Sauble Beach, Premiere of Film Farm (Philip Hoffman's Mount Forest Independent Imaging Retreat) productions from collaborative workshops with Saugeen First Nation, and shorts from Wapikoni (Indigenous youth filmmakers) Also, "Serpent People" installation and live performance by Aanmitaagzi at Saugeen First Nation ("Best of Nuit Blanche" - blogTO.)
