Durham & District Horticultural Society General Meeting

Thursday, June 18, 2020 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Durham Town Hall

We are all looking for ways to make our gardening as sustainable as possible in this rapidly changing world. Planting more native perennials that are drought and heat resistant. Not using any harmful chemicals to control pests and disease, but using only natural products. Our Guest Speaker Roger Gannon from the West Grey Sustainability Committee will give us step by step instructions on the best practices for home worm composting. We know the effects garbage is having on our environment, so let's learn how to turn that food waste into perfect soil for our gardens.
