West Grey Council utilizes the assistance of advisory committees to provide recommendations on pertinent issues within the Municipality and draws on the expertise of citizen volunteer members. Citizen advisory committees are established by Council. These committees provide advice and recommendations to Council as requested on areas within their mandates with no authority for decision-making or independent actions. Committee recommendations are required to be considered / endorsed by Council. The citizen members are appointed by Council.
West Grey Council acknowledges and thanks the citizens that volunteer their time and experience to participate on various advisory committees and boards dealing with issues ranging from economic development and youth initiatives to recreational activities.
Meetings occur 2nd Thursday, monthly at 7 pm. (subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions or meeting date conflicts)
